Local Wheelchair Racer on Cereal Box

A local wheelchair racer will soon be appearing on a cereal box. Fain Grogg of Johnson City won the National Veterans Wheelchair Games in St. Louis in 2004. He is pictured with 11 other athletes on a special edition Cheerios box. The boxes will be on sale at many military bases.

Construction Crane Falls in New York

A construction crane in New York fell on Sunday. The crane hit a nearby building killing at least 4 and injuring 24. 3 people are still missing.

Beef Recall

The USDA ordered a record beef recall last week after learning of animal abuse at the Westland/Hallmark Meat Co. the recall effected over 143 million pounds of beef.

Blackout in Miami

In Miami an electric malfunction caused a blackout for 3 million people on Wednesday. The outage effected from Daytona Beach all the way to the Keys.
