House Fire in Washington County
A Washington County home went up in flames on Wednesday Afternoon. The home wasn’t saved due to lack of water.
Columbian Hostages Freed
The Columbian Army tricked rebels on Wednesday into handing over hostages. These hostages had been held for several years.
4th of July Celebrations
Many Cities in the Tri-Cities had July 4th celebrations.
In Jonesborough there was the Jonesborough Days parade. They had a wide range of things including a horse in overalls.
In Elizabethton there was also a parade. They held a flag and sang the national anthem at the parade’s mid point.
In Johnson City they had many events and contests at Freedom Hall. The Celebration was concluded with a Fireworks Celebration with music by WXBQ.
