Jay Leno Leaves the Tonight Show

Jay Leno’s last Tonight Show episode is set for May 29 of 2009. NBC says that Late Night host Conan O’Brien will take his spot. And Conan will be replaced with Jimmy Fallon.

Gap Creek Road Project

Elizabethton held a meeting last night on how to improve the Gap Creek road area. Their plans include building a new road. The city has enough money for a right of way but not enough to begin construction for several more years.

Johnson City is beginning work on improving the Broadway and Unaka Street intersection. This is the beginning step in improving the downtown area.
