H1N1 Update

An update on the Swine Flu story that we told you last week. Officials are now calling the virus the H1N1 Flu, its scientific name because of people’s fear of eating pork which cannot give you the H1N1 virus. There are now confirmed cases in 18 countries for a total of about 800 cases. The vast majority of those cases are within North America although Spain is the hardest hit with 20 confirmed cases. Worldwide another 20 people have died from the H1N1 Flu. Now to put this into perspective, of the total world population, 129 billionths percent of people have had the H1N1 virus. In the U.S. 555 billionths percent of people have had the disease.
