Paramount has Funding Issues

The Paramount Theatre in Bristol is having funding problems. If this continues they say that they may have to close. They are asking the community for help.

Guns Allowed in Bars

After Governor Bredesen vetoed a bill to allow guns in bars, it was overridden in congress. Beginning July 14 guns will be allowed in bars and restaurants, although you can’t drink while having a gun. Gov. Bredesen still stands by his decision and says that guns and alcohol in close proximity is a bad mix.
