Many festivals occurred this weekend.
This weekend was the Covered Bridge Festival. They had the usual venders plus a kids’ play area.
You could fish in the river for
free. In the evenings they had music for all to listen to.
In Johnson City they had the
Blue Plum Festival. They had all
the usual venders plus a kids sector with games and prizes. They had several stages with a wide range of performers.
Finally, a lesser known festival, the Native American Culture Festival was held this weekend at Sycamore Shoals. They had venders of cultural items and had many dances, some of which the audience could join.
