BP Announces Plan to Sell Spilt Oil

BP has announced that it will sell oil captured from the on-going spill that has been happening since mid April. They say that they will donate the money for the protection and restoration of wildlife on the gulf coast.

73 Missing in Arkansas Floods

The search for seventy-three missing people continues after flash flooding yesterday in Arkansas. Sixteen people have already been declared dead. The Caddo and Little Missouri rivers surged out of their banks into nearby campgrounds. The force of the water was so much that it ripped away tree bark and pavement from roads. At one point the water was rising at a rate of one foot every seven and a half minutes.
